Biography

Anna-Luisa Häcker did her PhD about cardiovascular risk of patients with congenital heart disease, where she analyzed the predicted 10-year-risk of a major cardiovascular event based on the PROCAM® score, using different blood parameters. Further research included the association of the metabolic syndrome on the intima-media thickness of the Arteria carotis communis. In addition, the arterial stiffness was examined in children with congenital heart disease and compared to heart-healthy children.

In September and October 2022, she worked as a guest researcher in the field of pediatric oncology at the University of Copenhagen. Since 2023, she is a clinical study center manager (Med1 / Cardiology) at LMU’s Großhardern clinic in Munich.
